Soft Materials

There is almost no end to the types of material an abrasive water jet system can cut. Whether you need softwood, hardwood, plastics, rubber or foam all of these materials are easily machined quickly and accurately.

When cutting some soft materials cost can be minimized further by mitigating the need to use Garnet (the abrasive material used in abrasive water jet machining). For example when cutting expanded foam or soft rubber products the abrasive can be eliminated while maintaining high cut speeds.
