Virtucom Metals Awarded
Controlled Goods Certification.

Virtucom Metals is pleased to announce that effective 24th March 2009 we received our Certificate of Registration for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

Certificate # 23785

Registration and certification permits Virtucom to examine, process or transfer controlled goods in accordance with the Defence Production Act and the Controlled Goods Regulations.

February 2009:

Customer Satisfaction Minimizing
Water Jet Taper.

One of the major knocks against abrasive water jet cutting has always been the taper produced on the finished part, especially when cutting thicker materials. Fortunately for customers of Virtucom those days are history.

With the combination of our OMAX INTELI-MAX® software and the OMAX Tilt-A-Jet® technology our technicians are able to virtually eliminate the taper in most circumstances.

Virtucom Metals Introduces
Abrasive Water Jet Cutting.

Virtucom Inc expands its rapid turn cutting service by installing the OMAX 80160 JetMachining® Center.

Complimenting our existing laser cutting capability Virtucom now offers abrasive water jet cutting. With the OMAX 80160 we are able to cut almost any material up to 6” thick with a maximum sheet size of 7’ x 13’.
