Lean Thinking

In 2005 we began implementing
Lean Thinking and Lean techniques
in to our operation.

Many dramatic improvements have resulted, including:

  • Lower inventory levels along with revenue growth
  • Improved throughput
  • Improved quality
  • Process standardization

We regularly hear from visitors how different we are from other shops.
We continue to pursue our lean implementation, and as of 2010 are focused on strengthening our Lean culture by

  • concentrating on problem solving
  • formalizing our Virtucom Production System
  • increased communication

It has allowed us to offer value to customers they may not be expecting, such as

  • shipping solutions reducing logistic costs
  • replenishment options to reduce inventory
  • shorter lead times
